Reinforcing Our Mission in Uzbekistan’s Energy Transition

Since its creation in 2019, UzAssystem has been a trusted engineering partner of the Ministry of Energy, supporting the implementation of strategic infrastructure projects including grid modernisation, renewable energy deployment, and nuclear readiness.

Earlier this year, UzAssystem signed a Memorandum of Understanding during the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to France, with the goal of harmonising standards across key energy sectors: pumped-storage hydropower, battery energy storage systems (BESS), distributed generation, energy export, nuclear development, and fault management in distribution networks.  This initiative is now part of the ‘France–Uzbekistan’ bilateral roadmap.

Additionally, following the Presidential Resolution PR-51, UzAssystem is collaborating with the Ministry of Investment (MIIT) to simplify procedures and improve project delivery in IFI-funded programmes.
